First Responder Trainer & Admin Assistant - Nairobi & Nyeri Branches
Tasks:
Teach Occupational and Basic first aid training in organizations that contract the training school.
Support project implementations at the branch level
Assist in fundraising for the branch and marketing of the branch services such as First Aid, and other I.G.A
Facilitate and support emergency services and response from the branch.
Managing the day-to-day running of the office, visitors and volunteers.
Manage communication tasks for efficiency.
Report Writing and Minute taking.
Management of the filling system for documents, assets and inventories.
Titles & Tasks I currently hold when needed:
The Nairobi County Youth Board Secretary – In charge of organizing, coordinating, and documenting Nairobi County KRCS youth activities.
Kenyan Youth Delegate - I attended the UN World Humanitarian Summits in Doha, Qatar 2015, and Istanbul, Turkey, 2016.
Dissemination Officer- Conduct induction meetings for those who express interest in becoming members and volunteers in the organization where I guide them through the history, principles, mandates and programs of Kenya Red Cross Society.
Project Volunteer- For projects such as Non-Communicable Diseases, Urban Risk Reduction and Blood Donation where I serve as the administration assistant, mobilizer and community volunteer.
First Responder- I am part of the disaster response team that attends to casualties in accidents and emergencies from various locations and situations.
